You have arrived at Eastern Sierras Art, a community portal and E-Commerce site. Thank you so much for visiting our site. This site will be home base for a number of California artists who have been looking for a low cost/no cost means of acquiring an internet and e-commerce presence. We are starting with the photography of Duane Bentzen, and Gerry Wilson. We will be adding and inviting artists from every form of media including painters, jewelers, glass blowers, carpenters and woodworkers, sculptors, potters and clothing designers.

We call this site a portal because it is just that. It links you to various artists and media. But unlike the usual definition of a web portal like Yahoo or MSN, we also have content and an e-commerce presence that is shared among many artists in a community effort for the benefit of everyone.

We are collecting works of art from a vast array of artists who exhibit their work and vend their crafts all over the state of California. We are affiliated with a number of other web site collections as well as the sites of many individual artists themselves.

After visiting and exhibiting at many of the art and craft shows in California, from the Sawdust festival, to Coachella, Burning Man, Santa Barbara, San Francisco Mammoth Lakes, we collaborated and decided to create this web site. If you'd like to be included, please do not hesitate to contact us. Our site was designed to be elegant, tasteful, and extremely affordable for anyone who would like to be included in our midst.
